At The Gathering Place, we believe in creating a sacred space where community, creativity, and spirituality come together. Founded with a deep passion for holistic living, spiritual growth, and artistic expression, we offer a unique environment where artisans, healers, and spiritual seekers can connect, share, and grow. About Us
How It All Started
The idea for The Gathering Place was born out of a personal journey toward healing and spiritual awakening. Our founders, Heather and Derek Hodovance, wanted to create a sanctuary where like-minded individuals could come together, share their gifts, and grow in a supportive environment. Inspired by spiritual communities and a passion for handmade items, we opened our doors to local artisans, spiritual healers, and those seeking deeper connections.
What began as a dream has blossomed into a thriving hub for holistic wellness, creativity, and spiritual exploration. Today, The Gathering Place hosts a wide variety of events, from full moon ceremonies and meditation circles to wellness retreats and artisan markets, all to foster unity, community, and inner peace.

We strive to uplift and inspire through blending human connection with creativity, holistic health, and spirituality. Additionally, we shine a light on the many tools available to enhance health and healing, celebrating the magnificence of the human body and the power of creative expression. Our focus is on helping individuals raise their human frequency, creating deeper connections with themselves and others, and contributing to the collective shift toward higher consciousness and spiritual awakening.
Our goal is to create spaces that support individuals beyond healing, opening the door to an understanding of flourishing and in doing so contributes to the collective well-being of our families, the local community, and indeed the whole world.
